Great post Tony! So many of us have oodles of BB workouts now, among other options and you would think that what you said would be common sense, yet without hearing it, some folks might just STOP without a second thought! Thanks!

Hi Tony!

Great post! Some days can really be tough, but you are so right when you say to just pick some workout or activity and get moving.

I'm still trying to get over my elbow tendonitis, so I've been concentrating on lower body and abs since Hawaii. Well, it can be difficult to find enough different lower body workouts that don't use the arms in some way. I hadn't been jogging in probably 15 years, but I decided to give that a try for a month or so. I wasn't fast, but I was able to go for 2 miles without stopping (well, I did have to keep telling myself not to stop and walk, but I made it). This just goes to show what great shape your tapes get people in!

Bottom line is. . .a variety of workout options really is important. The most important thing is to pick one and just do it!!!

Good luck with ski season! :-)

Tony,

You crack me up!! I feel like I know you, like you've been a friend forever! I love your humor about all this working out stuff! Just like something you blogged a few months ago: make a plan and love it! And have that variety around to spice it up a little.

Thanks again for such timely words and encouragement! And I have to tell you, I am doing great on staying away from the PORN!! My downfall is dairy, so that is gone completely starting today. I had already cut way back on yogurts and cheeses, but now, I'm off for the next three weeks, like you challenged earlier. I'm sure that I will feel nothing but good!

Cheers,
Sarah/Psalm9567

You are forgiven, my brother!!!

I agree with Sarah, I feel as though you're a friend! You definitely have been a huge part of my life over the past year and I've enjoyed working out with you every morning (except Sundays). I'm loving the new Masters Series (speaking of variety) It's really spicing things up for me! Thanks!

Well Tony, you have shown that you also go thru the motions and brought the variety for all of you. Quitting is walking away from it. You did not quit. You just decided to make it fun for you and you did what worked for you at that moment. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Actually something to be proud of. You pushed play and had an X in your calendar.

Now go hit the slopes cause on your side of the world the snow is there, we get ours tonite. AAAAHHHH!!

XO Thank you for your honesty, friend.

Thanks for that confession Tony. I too have done this and gone on to some other workout I had. Or I would put my line dancing music in and dance my lil heart out (LOL) (thus earning your nick-name you gave me at SA camp dance_machine) By the time I am done am sweating up a storm but grinning ear to ear none-the-less after the workout.
As far as the new Master Series workouts I fell in instant love(/hate) with them and have incorporated the plyo/legs and core/cardio into my 5th P90 round this time. It is a well complimented addition to the regular P90 3/4 circuit dvd.s (waiting on the 5/6 circuit dvd.s i just ordered)
I just want to close this with a mighty thank you and am proud to a part of the great and awesome program.
